Arizona native Raymond Charles Gomez has been playing for 33 years and has developed a native American Flamenco blues style of music influenced by Andre Segovia and Paco de Lucia, Spanish guitarist and blues singers Howlin Wolf and John Lee Hooker. Ray has played all the major resorts in the Phoenix as well as special events in the UK, Spain and France. In his early years Ray toured with rock bands Kiss, Queensryche, Iron Maiden and Autograph. Played in the Mark Anthony project who wrote songs for Alice Cooper, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Kiss, Joan Jett and Lita Ford. Ray studied classical guitar with Miguel Bernal who studied with Andre Segovia and Christopher Parkening. Ray has played all genres of music. Rock, Classical, Flemenco, Country, Blue Grass, Jazz and Blues. Ray’s improvised style of music makes him a crowd favorite at live events.
